RLS Polo club
offers Polo Corporate Days for polo novices and beginners; starting with the
history of the sport all the way through to learning how to ride a polo pony
under the tutelage of our professional players. |
|
|
|
This unique and
informative evening is for those who want to experience the 'behind the scenes'
workings of the fascinating "sport of kings." Led by Karl Ude Martinez, a
professional polo player and actor, who presents the 'Polo Masters' series for
Sky Sports and who plays polo at the RLS Polo Club. On arrival you will be met
by Karl who will start by giving you a briefing on the world of polo.

The Schedule of
the day will be as follows: |

9.00am.
Explanation of the history, rules and tactics of the game over a continental
breakfast. |
|
|
|
9.45am. Hitting
the ball - using foot mallets |
|
|
|
10.15am. Talk
through tactics - game of polo on foot with hand mallets! |
|
|
|
11.15am. Tour of
stable yard. |
|
|
|
12.30pm. LUNCH -
served in the club house (Full bar and refreshment facilities are also
available throughout the day). |

1.30pm.
Introduction to polo professionals and horses as they prepare for a
match. |
|
|
|
2.00pm A polo game
will be played on one of the two grounds adjacent to the clubhouse, giving you
unrivalled views to what will be a thrilling and exciting day. Full interesting
and informative commentary on the matches. |

|
4.30pm Watch the
prize giving, meet the players and celebrate along with the winning team the
end of an unforgettable day, with a glass of champagne &
souvenirs!! |
