This Grade II historic house dates from 1600 and the Georgian-style west wing was added in 1848. It has been imaginatively and beautifully restored, while preserving its historical character.

BBC Homes and Antiques magazine has selected it one of five best B&Bs and Independent Traveller named it top historic B&B.

Bed and breakfast from £42.50 per person double occupancy and from £60 per person single occupancy. Guests can enjoy kitchen suppers from £16 or lavish 7-course candlelight dinners at £50, prepared by David, who studied at Raymond Blanc's Manoir aux Quatr' Saisons.
